Police have released photos of a man suspected of grabbing a woman off the street in the Rogers Park neighborhood and sexually assaulting her in a construction area near the CTA Morse station.

The woman, 50, told police she was walking south on Glenwood around 5:45 a.m. Wednesday when a man wearing a mask grabbed her by the throat near the entrance to the station, according to the police report.

As she screamed, the man dragged her into a construction area and assaulted her, threatening to "snap her neck" if she screamed again, police said.

The woman said she saw a worker at the site and ran toward him as the attacker fled with the woman's clothes and purse, according to the police report. The items were later found in an alley and on the roof of a nearby garage.

Police released surveillance photos of the suspect Wednesday night and asked anyone with information to call 312-744-8200.
